Highest degree: Masters
Degree name: Plant Sciences
Area of expertise: Agricultural sciences
Skills: As a doctoral researcher in Plant Molecular Biology, I am investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying plant responses to abiotic stress, with a particular focus on transcriptional regulation, phosphorylation signaling, and heat stress memory in Arabidopsis thaliana. My current project explores the co-transcriptional regulation of RNA Polymerase II, transcription elongation factors (e.g., TFIIS), and RNase H under heat stress. I have developed proficiency in a broad range of molecular and physiological techniques including RNA and protein isolation, RT-qPCR, mutagenesis, genotyping, confocal microscopy, and phenotyping under stress conditions.

Beyond benchwork, I contribute actively to experimental design, data interpretation, and manuscriptpreparation. I have participated in collaborative lab projects and engaged in regular scientific discussions and presentations. While I have not yet led funding applications, I am involved in the conceptual development of research questions and the strategic planning of project goals. My interests also extend to improving science communication, mentoring junior researchers, and contributing to a collaborative and interdisciplinary research environment.
