I have done my Doctoral Project at Hanover Medical SChool in the field of onset of labour and labour duration (birth) (https://www.mhh.de/hebammenwissenschaft/neuigkeiten). Another field of my research is in physiological pauses of labour and labour duration (https://childbirthresearch.com/) for which I have started a
funded project with Prof. Dr, Marina Weckend in the University of Luebeck.
Furthermore I am interested in QM of Maternal and Newborn care (QMNC-https://www.qmnc.org/) and general the science of birth, especially Early Labour Research. I am active in the international group of researchers around early labour https://scienceofbirth.ubc.ca/research/international-early-labour-research-group at the University of British Columbia.
