Skills: My research focuses on financing the energy transition. The urgency is clear—we must accelerate renewable energy capacity in Europe. I explore the barriers and enablers for investors in (large-scale) hydrogen projects. From feasibility to final investment decision (FID), I analyze business models, risk mitigation, and financial structures that drive investment. De-risking is key—building investor confidence is crucial for scaling hydrogen infrastructure. By bridging academia and industry, I develop insights that support bankable solutions.
