I am an academic and researcher with a large experience in project leadership, management, and international collaboration. As the Head of the Management Department at the Faculty of Business, "Aleksander Moisiu University" of Durres, I drive departmental strategy, oversees staff development, and
ensures the alignment of research activities with the university's goals. This role also involves fostering partnerships across industries and upholding high standards in both education and research.
My research portfolio includes significant involvement in European Union-funded projects, particularly those focused on sustainability, socio-economic development, and digital innovation. I am actively engaged in multiple COST Action projects, including initiatives on circular economy, industrial symbiosis, and sustainable practices in the blue economy. My work also extends to educational projects such as the HACKIT Hackathon, which promotes ICT-based innovation in higher education.
In addition to my research, I have a keen interest in gender empowerment and entrepreneurship. I am a member of projects dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs and examining the challenges and opportunities they face in regions like Durrës and Tirana. My commitment to sustainable development is evident through her involvement in initiatives like "Eco-hotels as a model of environmental responsibility and innovation in the hotel industry" and "Creating a Sustainable Food System 'From Farm to Fork.'"
My contributions to research management are underscored by my roles as a coordinator and reviewer for various conferences. I organized the 9th International Scientific Conference of Business Faculty and serve as a reviewer for international events such as the European International Business Academy Conference. My leadership extends to accreditation processes, having coordinated efforts for programs like the Master’s in Management of SMEs and Business Management.
My expertise also spans across financial management and digital tools. I am proficient in project management software and accounting programs like FINANCE 5 and Alpha, which help me in effectively handling project logistics and financial oversight.
My academic contributions are further enriched by my experience as a guest lecturer across European institutions, covering subjects such as international business, SMEs, and sustainable business strategies. Through my roles, I exemplifies a deep commitment to advancing sustainable practices, fostering innovation, and championing gender equity in entrepreneurship.
