Skills: Rui Neves Madeira obtained his PhD in Computer Science from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT-UNL), his MSc in Computer Science and Informatics and his BSc in Electrical Engineering from the same University. He is an integrated researcher at the research centre of excellence NOVA-LINCS, Group of Multimodal Systems, and a collaborative researcher at the Telecommunications Institute of Lisboa. He was the Head of the Centre of SustainRD - Research Center for Engineering a Sustainable Development at ESTSetúbal-IPS between 2019 and 2023. He is also a member of the Technical-Scientific Council of Technology School of Setúbal-IPS. He has published more than ten articles in specialised journals, and he has five book chapters. Organised two events. He supervised one doctoral thesis, and he is supervising five doctoral thesis. Advisor of more than 25 master's dissertation(s). Supervised more than 50 final projects for the bachelor's degree course. Received one award for the best paper in a top-tier conference.
