Skills: Timber is a professor of business models at the School of Finance and Accounting at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics. At Saxion he leads the research group on business models and is the founder and coordinator of the Business Model Lab (www. businessmodellab.nl/en/) as well as the Fieldlab Circular Innovation in Manufacturing (www.saxion.nl /fieldlabcim). In the Business Model Lab, he and his team conduct research into business models and business model innovation, and research methods and tools for the effective design and testing of (new) business models, with a focus on technology enabled (digital) business models and sustainability. The Business Model Lab offers entrepreneurs tools and knowledge to keep their company future-proof. The Fieldlab helps them to make their business more circular.
