I have experience in the research domain for almost 17 years. My areas of expertise include: signal and image processing, denoising, forecasting, IoT and smart homes, data mining.Regarding research projects, I was member of the team for the following projects:CNCSIS IDEI grant - Using the theory of wavelet functions in decision-making - 2009-2012 ATRACTING - Ultrasonography image conditioning methods - post doctoral project: 2014-2015Currently, my research activity is focused on two directions: developing algorithms for blood glucose prediction in type 1 diabetes and photovoltaic energy management systems. I am also working on a project proposal on photovoltaic energy management systems topic.I am also organizer for an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program program called ACSA - Automotive Cybersecurity Academy that brings together students eager to learn and teachers willing to teach them the most important and interesting subjects related to cybersecurity, during 8 online lectures and 2 weeks summer school. Since 2022, universities from four European countries have joined this program.I am also reviewer for a number of journals: Transactions on Consumer Electronics, Sensors, Energies, DSP, and conferences.
