Skills: Prof. Liviu Marșavina is full professor in Strength of Materials and Fracture Mechanics at University Politehnica Timisoara, Romania. His main research interests are in mechanics of materials, fracture mechanics and structural integrity and durability applied to different materials and structures. He has a relevant experience in evaluation of integrity and durability of components from hydropower equipments like shaft, turbine blade, lever pin. The main results were published in high impact journals: like Theoretical and Applied Fracture Mechanics, Engineering Fracture Mechanics, Computational Materials Science, Fatigue and Fracture of Engineering Materials and Structures, Polymer Testing, etc.
