At St. Poelten UAS, I am an associate lecturer teaching 'fundamentals of healthcare systems' and 'health data management' in different bachelor and master programmes. Furthermore, I'm finishing my doctoral studies in Medical Sciences at Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria, specialising in web-based patient education in surgery. Therefore, I'm also in an ongoing research cooperation with the Department of Nursing Sciences - Empowering Patient Education programme at the University of Turku in Finland. Due to different projects, I have several years of work experience in different public health-related research areas. In 2023, I started nursing school to become a qualified surgical technologist.My areas of interest are:health literacy and health education | digital patient education & patient empowerment | healthcare technology & digital solutions in healthcare | public health | interdisciplinary and interprofessional care | E-/Blended Learning for patients and healthcare professionals
